Discussion and possible action on changes to the approved Mobility Committee calendar (Proposed changes: Approved September 14, 2016 meeting rescheduled to September 7, 2016, 3-6 p.m.; Approved May 27, 2016 meeting rescheduled to May 9, 2016, 9-12 p.m.).

Item 4

Discussion and possible action on the Austin Transportation Department’s proposed $250,000 contract with Center for Transportation Research to provide services including multimodal traffic data management, identify data analytics, develop dynamic traffic and transit modeling, and research various best practices for communication of travel information to various users.

Briefing on Capital Metro’s Central Corridor Study and general discussion of rail planning process.

Item 6

Staff briefing on recommendations from the Vision Zero action report, the traffic safety concept that aims to reduce fatalities and serious injuries on roadways to zero.

7. Briefing and update on the Mobility 35 project, a region-wide effort to improve mobility and safety along I-35 in Williamson, Travis and Hays counties from SH130 north of Georgetown to Posey Road south of San Marcos.

8. Staff briefing with discussion and possible action on public process options for funding of transportation projects.
